CLASS A SETUP - ELECTRIC GUITARS:
Similar to the Class B setup but with much more...

NOT BE CONFUSED WITH SO-CALLED "FULL" SET-UPS OFFERED ELSWHERE!

This type of setup is the one which is needed 90% of the time! It is not just a setup but a total evaluation and overhaul of the instrument. Generally aimed at regularly used or "tired" guitars or even new guitars that would benefit from a "good sort out".
The aim is to transform the guitar to a condition of personal playability that far exceeds anything experienced before.

Description:
Levelling, re-crowning & polishing of frets
Clean & oil fretboard
Cut and enhance nut to perfection
Check and secure loose or sprung frets and inlays
Adjust action and truss rod
Adjust Intonation
Adjust pickups and pole pieces
Adjust machinehead tensions and mounting nuts (always loose!)
Check and tighten, strap buttons, controls and jack socket
Serviceand lubricate electrics, re-soldering where necessary
Adjust Stop-tailpiece (Les Paul Types) to optimum height (where applicable)
Remove, clean, adjust & balance trem (where applicable)*
Re-string with D`Addario or E-Ball strings as standard (or your personal choice) where necessary (strings are charged at extra cost, see below)
Clean and polish guitar body (really heavily soiled instruments may be charged extra for this but only with prior agreement).

Electric guitars & basses -£75.00

*Guitars with locking tremolos - £80.00 - £90.00

Deluxe Setup: Can cost a further £20.00 for extra fret dressing if your frets are very heavily worn or pitted.

ALL PRICES NON INCLUSIVE OF STRINGS. D'Addario strings are recommended at current retail price.
PRICES FOR BASS STRINGS - ON APPLICATION (due to large variety available).
